Product Overview
Silicone fiberglass fabric is a high-performance, multi-purpose composite material made by combining high-temperature-resistant, high-strength fiberglass fabric with silicone rubber through a special manufacturing process.
Product Features
Excellent High and Low-Temperature Resistance: It can operate stably within a temperature range of -70°C to 260°C and even higher. It remains stable and non-brittle under prolonged heat exposure, and some products can maintain good elasticity at high temperatures.
Good Mechanical Properties: It is strong, flexible, and resilient, allowing for easy cutting and sewing. It also has a certain tensile strength, making it convenient for various cutting and sewing processes.
Superior Chemical Resistance: It is resistant to acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, and other chemical media. It has excellent chemical stability, is resistant to oil and water, and can be wiped clean.
Good Aging Resistance: It has excellent resistance to thermal aging and weathering, as well as ozone, oxygen, and light. It has a long service life of over 10 years when used outdoors.
High Insulation Performance: With a dielectric constant of 3 to 3.2 and a breakdown voltage of 20 to 50 kV/mm, it has a high electrical insulation grade and can withstand high voltage loads.
Flame Retardancy and Fire Resistance: It has excellent flame retardant properties and is not easily combustible. It can effectively prevent the spread of flames. When exposed to open flames, it transforms from an elastomer to a rigid ceramic structure, providing excellent fire, heat, and electrical insulation.

Manufacturing Process
Base Material Preparation: High-quality alkali-free fiberglass fabric is selected as the base material due to its high-temperature resistance, high strength, and non-combustibility.
Silicone Rubber Preparation: Silicone rubber is mixed with various additives (such as vulcanizing agents, flame retardants, and anti-aging agents) to enhance its properties.
Coating Process: The prepared silicone rubber is evenly coated onto the fiberglass fabric. This can be done through coating or calendering to ensure a strong bond between the silicone rubber and the fiberglass fabric.
Vulcanization: The coated fiberglass fabric is placed in a vulcanization device and subjected to vulcanization at a specific temperature and time. This process causes the silicone rubber to cross-link, forming a rubber body with elasticity and strength.
Post-Processing: Depending on the requirements, the vulcanized silicone fiberglass fabric can be further processed, such as cutting, sewing, and surface treatment (e.g., applying a protective coating or printing labels).
